WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO WORK AT THIS PARTICULAR VENUE?
"My co-manager and I have worked together in the wedding industry since the 1990's. We have each owned / co-owned venues and were asked to be a part of The Barn when it was purchased."
WHAT IS THE CONSULTATION PROCESS LIKE & HOW CAN COUPLES START THE CONSULT PROCESS WITH YOU?
"Our initial contact is usually from our website inquiry form, but we also get a lot of phone calls and some Facebook messages. We reach out right away to schedule a private tour / consult with the couple (sometimes parents are a part of this as well!). We can also communicate over email or virtually for out of town couples."
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FEATURE OF THE VENUE?
"The historical significance and the authenticity, mixed with all the modern amenities."
WHAT ARE THE PACKAGES YOU OFFER FOR WEDDINGS?
"We offer Wedding Ceremony + Reception, or just Reception.
We also offer day of coordinating."
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER VENUES?
"Size (15,000 sq ft on three levels), historical features and original construction with modern amenities and a touch of elegance. Man Cave for the groom/groomsmen. Professional, experienced managers."
I think we've seen them all! My favorite is using modern decor and furnishings to blend with the rustic ambiance. Lots of candles, fresh floral, mixed metals or all black, and specialty linen - and it's really fun when clients bring in unique dinnerware, flatware, and glassware for either just the wedding party table or all of the place settings. Adding a signature drink to feature a theme is also popular.
